The burning oil smell was some spill over burning off the engine from when my friend topped the oil off. The CEL would appear to be caused by a vacuum leak somewhere. So it’s not serious but that’s gonna be a bit of a bitch to track down. I’m just glad it isn’t anything more serious.

That reminds me, our mechanic called today. He’s just going to go ahead and gut the cats like I originally wanted. Glad yours is nothing serious.

Is it an O2 code, an evap code, a vac leak code? That will help you narrow down where to look.

Under hood diagnostic port was giving me O2 sensor codes.
